Cabinet of Curiosities
I'm not a massive fan of ornaments, although I have an eclectic taste and have always been fascinated with the macabre and weird, dark stuff. It's probably why I've always had a thing for Victorian illustration, ‘YE OLDE CURIOSITY’ STYLE SHOPS, Tim Burton, Alan Clarke, Victoria Sawdon and the general world of quirky and gothic art.
This book piqued my interest and fascination while researching new cookbooks on the Taschen Books website, so it deserved a nod if, even for its unique subject matter.
I'd say you could spend hours perusing through all the paraphernalia in this book's beautifully shot photos.
