Matt Russell is a photographer who works between New York and London; Matt creates personal, evocative photographs born of a deeply felt emotional connection with his subjects and a refined visual instinct that imbues his work with classic, poetic elegance.

Matt's distinctive approach to lighting and composition is informed by his background in moving images and an enduring love of cinema. I came across Matt's work whilst perusing Evi-O's design studio site; apart from admiration of Matt's shots, the guys at Evi-O have produced a beautiful website representing Matt's work incredibly elegantly.
